July 23, 2024 - (Saint-Côme, Que.) Station touristique Val Saint-Côme is delighted to launch its very first mountain biking season and inaugurate its new trails. Starting today, beginners and experts alike will be able to discover over 10 km of trails and ride down slopes with a vertical drop of over 300 m, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
Expansion is already planned for the remainder of the summer, with new trails being added throughout the season for a total of 23 km. Eventually, more than 60 km of trails dedicated to mountain biking will be available.
An activity for the whole family
Station touristique Val Saint-Côme is proud to offer its customers a detachable lift with racks for all types of bikes, including electric bikes, perfect for the whole family. The detachable lift provides quick and easy access to the top of the mountain, allowing customers to enjoy more descents during their visits to the site. The mountain also offers a wide range of trails suitable for beginners and the more experienced alike.
For thrill seekers, Val Saint-Côme has collaborated with Today’s Bike Park to develop a “pro-line” trail, one of the most impressive in Eastern Canada, enabling the resort to compete with professional trails across North America.
Inaugural weekend celebrations
July 19-20, 2024 marks the official launch of the mountain bike trails. For the occasion, demonstrations, a festive atmosphere and workshops will be offered. The terrace and resto-bar will be open, and inflatable games will be on hand for the younger ones. Many surprises and a contest to win daily tickets await the visitors. It’s a rendezvous for all outdoor enthusiasts!
