December 3, 2024 - Cyclists from across Canada and around the world are gearing up for the highly anticipated Paris to Ancaster Bike Race (P2A), set to take place on Sunday April 27th, 2025.
Celebrating over 30 years of cycling excellence, P2A has become one of North America’s premier gravel racing events, drawing participants of all skill levels to tackle its challenging mix of paved roads, gravel trails, farm lanes, and unpredictable terrain.
Starting in Paris, Ontario, and finishing in Ancaster, the race is famed for its unique combination of scenic backroads and demanding course features. Riders must navigate through varied terrain, including the infamous “mud chutes”, climbs, with Mother Nature often adding her own twist to the adventure.
Expect the return of the 100k (P2A CENTO), 70k (P2A CLASSIC), and 45k (P2A BRÈVE) races. Including the famous mud pits and the notable climb to the finish sure to make crossing that finish line that more rewarding. Here, racers will be able to immerse themselves in the vigorous trails set by race directors John Thorpe and Tim Farrar.

Highlights of P2A 2025
• Qualify for the UCI gravel world championships: Participants can qualify for the UCI gravel world championships (Nice, France), by finishing in the top 25% of their age group for UCI distance categories.
• Separate start times and groups for our UCI qualifiers. Our elite and age group women < 50 will start first and the leading women will be our first to cross the finish line.
