The countdown to Year 21 starts NOW! As we enter our 21st year of crafting the Ultimate Singletrack Experience, it’s time to shake things up! We’ve had so many people asking us what’s next? And we’re excited to finally tell you what’s new for 2027:

Next year we are shifting to a 5-day journey, starting on Monday, May 24 and ending Friday, May 28. This change will provide a sharper, more focused experience while keeping what makes BC Bike Race the best week on a bike: sick trails and a focus on giving every single racer the best possible experience.

The race returns to the mainland with a stop in Squamish, one of the most celebrated mountain bike destinations on the planet and a long-time racer favourite. The town and the club are excited to have us back and we can’t wait to start planning the course in this MTB wonderland.

The Salish Sea crossing with BC Ferries is making a reprise. With stunning coastal views and opportunities to see wildlife such as whales, porpoises and seals, this 90-minute journey from North Vancouver to Vancouver Island has been a highlight for racers in the past and we’re excited to bring back the experience.
Introducing an Enduro option! For the first time ever, BC Bike Race will offer an Enduro race alongside, but independent of, the Classic stage race. Each day features multiple timed stages through some of BC’s most celebrated singletrack, with a mix of technical and flow trails suited to a range of riding styles. We have room for 150 Enduro course racers and 450 Classic course racers.

Super Early Bird Registration for the 2027 edition of the legendary BC Bike Race is officially open, and for a limited time you can lock in your spot for just $1,799 CAD.
