That’s why the brand made the Ride Kit 1.0, a long-sleeved jersey and pant combo that sells for less than 100 bucks (US) – and less than 90 for kids. It has an outstanding price-to-performance ratio, truly looking and feeling more expensive than it is.

The Ride Kit 1.0 shares the same exceptional fit of Leatt’s premium Gravity 5.0 kit, which was developed with the Pivot Factory Racing Team. The jersey sleeves are a slimmer race fit, while the main torso is a relaxed fit for maximum comfort. Similarly, the lower leg of the pants is a bit tighter and more aerodynamic, while the knee and thigh sections are looser for kneepads and freedom of movement. The pants fit true to size like all Leatt pants, and the jerseys are sized up slightly for a little extra room. If you buy a medium Ride Kit, the pants will be a true medium, and the jersey will be between medium and large.

The jersey and pants are built with robust fabrics that are flexible, breathable, and fast-drying, plus all the materials are bluesign® APPROVED. The jersey is made from a polymer fiber/elastane knit. The jersey body is very lightweight, and the sleeves are super elastic, offering fantastic comfort and a compression fit, with a goggle wiper on the inside hem. The pant upper leg fabric is light and stretchy, while the lower leg fabric (knee and shin section) is a bit thicker and more durable. The full pant has a 100% PFC-free DWR C0 Coating.

Perforated ventilation on the pant’s inside knee and back side panels increases airflow, and a zippered thigh pocket and velcro back pocket offer secure storage. The waist has silicone grippers and a moto buckle for precise adjustment.

While the Ride Kit 1.0 was designed with downhill racing in mind, this kit has become a favorite go-to for Leatt employees and sponsored riders. It’s perfect for everything from downhill and enduro to local trail rides. Instead of loud graphics, the look is understated with minimal branding and clean color blocks. The pants come in all black only, and the jersey is available with black sleeves and a main body color of black, titanium, rust, or teal (black or rust for kids).
