September 9, 2025 - Cycling tourism is more than travel — it’s a path to a sustainable future. The EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference is rolling soon into Balatonfüred, Hungary from 24 – 26 September.

For three inspiring days, the conference dives into everything cycling tourism brings to our world — from boosting health and wellbeing, to driving local economies, cutting emissions and supporting a greener future.

From driving economic growth, tackling climate change, to maximizing social impact, the event will dive into the potential of cycling tourism through:

All of this unfolds on the shores of Lake Balaton — Hungary’s largest lake and one of its most beloved destinations. The perfect backdrop to exchange ideas and experience cycling tourism in action!

And because no cycling tourism conference is complete without adventure, the final day takes you out of the conference hall and onto the bike! Join one of three technical visits to explore the region’s cycling routes and enjoy a scenic boat trip back across Lake Balaton.
