January 9, 2024 - Chequamegon Trails in northern Wisconsin has over 130 miles of singletrack mountain-bike trails and 200+ miles of gravel routes that offer one of the most amazing mountain-bike trail networks in the USA.
The massive trail network includes the Bayfield and northern Sawyer County Forests, covering nearly a million acres of riding to satisfy your mountain or gravel bike dreams. CAMBA, the Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association that manages the network, recently announced the approval of Class 1 e-bikes on many of its trails.
One of the area’s most popular events is the Chequamegon MTB Festival, celebrating its 41st edition this year. The festival attracts top riders and enthusiasts from across the United States, including international participants.
As a year-round cycling destination with incredible gravel riding, CAMBA also grooms 70+ miles of trails for winter riding, thus creating a proverbial cycling adventure paradise.
