May 16, 2024 - Needless to say, we at CAMBA have been hard at work, preparing to make the most of every day this coming work/riding season.
In particular, the new CAMBA Trails Planning Committee has been meeting, discussing wants and prioritizing needs while keeping a sharp eye on the budget. Blessed with a wide range of opinions and trail expertise, the committee has quickly focused on this year’s main needs which include drainage rehab on Seely Pass as well as a full refresh of Dirty Dozen and .38 Special as well as rehab work on Makwa. Other projects are in the works as this committee continues to find its groove.

Volunteer work days are already a big success.
Our first volunteer work day brought out more than 60 workers and our second numbered around 20. Which means we’ve got a running start on spring clean-up and trail touch-up on Hatchery Creek and Esker trails, even before the whole system is fully open.
We’re thrilled with the turnout and excited to see just how much our energized and motivated volunteers can accomplish this summer. Let’s keep up the good work!

Events and clinics benefit from coordinated teamwork.
Again, CAMBA and its collection of teams and committees have united and put together an exceptional calendar of races and clinics, all of which are filling and showing signs of great interest, thanks to clearer, more consistent communication within CAMBA and throughout CAMBA’s critical audiences.
New hires and new approaches are making a big difference. Kudos to all involved.
