July 27, 2026 - For fabulous road, gravel, MTB and e-bike tours along with fat biking and bike-packing, High Peaks Cyclery in Lake Placid, New York has been a leader in outdoor adventures for over 40 years.

Explore the newly completed 35-mile section of the Adirondack Rail Trail that connects Lake Placid to Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake.

For a road bike challenge ride try the internationally famous 56-mile Ironman Lake Placid Loop, or head east of town if you want climbing, plus there are plenty of great gravel routes near Paul Smiths and more.

The eastern Adirondack Coast Bikeways, a premier network of 14 themed loops, is part of the mammoth Lake Champlain Bikeways which boasts 1,600 miles of trails.
High Peaks Cyclery’s Base Camp Lodging features four lodges next to the retail store with full kitchens, laundry, BBQ, that can host up to 42 people.

They also offer training camps for all levels of riders including lessons, rentals, and shuttles – e-bike rentals have become very popular. Design your own your tour and they’ll help with route information.
