May 5, 2026 - The 2026 Felt – BC Gravel Series is gearing up for the next event: the West Coast Slugger in Port Alberni. The route is expected to be somewhat technical with more steep climbs and loose rocky descents. Make sure you have the right equipment and tire selection. We recommend big tires, extra tubes, and if you can get some tire inserts like Cushcore, Rimpact, Vittoria Air Liner, it would be a good call. Register here.

9:15 am – Greetings, Rider’s Briefing
9:30 am – All Riders Start (Self Seeded with Fastest Riders in Front)
11:00 am to 3:00 pm – Food Truck
3:00 pm – Awards Presentations

How to get to the Race
Coming from the southwest on Highway 4, take a left turn onto the Port Alberni Highway. Turn Right on River Road to Pacific Rim Hwy. Keep left and cross the Orange Bridge and then take the first left on Tsuma-as Dr. Stay left on Shoemaker Bay Rd. Turn Right on Canal Forest Service Road. Then take a right on Stirling Arm Road followed by the first left to the site entrance.

Book Your Camp Spat at the Race
We are offering limited space for onsite overnight camping at the start/finish venue for Saturday May 16. Space is available on a first come first serve basis for RV’s, Campervan/truck, Tenting, or Motorhome. The area is paved so if you are tenting, you may need to find a place to properly stake .

Note that the following rules apply:
No campfires
No sale or consumption of alcohol on premises
All Camping Vehicles must have a Fire Extinguisher
No littering
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
