There are literally hundreds of trails to choose from via eight areas, and Fernie Alpine Resort’s lift access bike park features over 30 trails in the summer season from late June to early September.

If bike-packing is your game, Fernie is located at one of the stops on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route and local routes include Hartley Lake for a 30km return day trip, or the mammoth Summer Lake 130km return multi-day adventure.

Class 1 e-bikes are welcome on the trails in Fernie, making it a perfect cycling destination.

Plus, there are plenty of events over the summer to build a thirst for such as the Canada Cup Dunbar Summer Series, the WAM BAM Dirt Jump Jam, a brand-new Steep n’ Deep race in September and more.
